Josephinenhütte: 2 Row Concentric
Attributed to the Josephinenhütte in Silesia (Riesengebirge), this 2-row concentric is centred by a large deep-blue composite cane surrounded by 16 other millefiori canes including one with a foal silhouette and two yellow/white/red arrow canes, which look like 5-petal “stylized” flowers. Set on white muslin, interwoven with a number of blue and red filigree rods. (2 pale-blue outer tubes have become detached from one of the peripheral canes).
A broad basal rim around a polished concave centre.

Condition | good; a tiny floater in the dome. A small annealing crack in the base (extends roughly 1.5 cm into the muslin) does not detract in any way from the appearance. |
