A good example of a post-classicclosepack from the Riedel glassworks in Polaun in Bohemia; although the way the canes are set, it could almost be described as a 3-ring concentric. Most of the approx 42 canes are of the complex variety with relatively few simple canes inserted between them They are set on the typical dark-green, mica-flecked cushion. Signed with a dark-brown “R” signature cane at 4 o’clock in the main picture. Flat polished base, showing a few scratches consistent with its age.
