A small inkwell - overall height only 86mm (3 3/8") - most likely Arculus, with millefiori base and stopper. 4 rows of pastel-coloured cogs - lined in pink, blue, lavender and ochre - plus a row of 7/6 canes in red & white and red, blue & white. Non-matching - but perfectly fitting - stopper! Deeply concave, polished base.
