Paul Hollister called these Baccarat weights “uninteresting” because they look as though they are the “grounds... upon which snakes coil and lizards slither - only the snakes and lizards are missing”! Apart from a couple of “peaks”, sand, mica and algae-green glass, this one has a mound on one side, which looks like amethyst crystals - so maybe a little more interesting than those Paul Hollister had been looking at - and a reasonably-priced introduction to antique weights.
