A glowing tomato red cushion forms the backdrop for a white & green rose - framed by deep-violet & white pastry-mould canes - at the centre of this superb miniature weight. The white/green theme is continued in the border garland with pairs of white & pale-green pastry mould canes set between slightly larger white & blue pastry-moulds. The polished, concave base has a narrow wear rim. (Due to damage around the lower part of the weight it had to be professionally repolished, which has exposed the white underlay of the red colour ground, although it is not visible when viewed from the usual angle).
