Excellent Signed Concentric

A large concentric with an unusual centre: 13 blue/brown florets of varying sizes are set in sodden snow, edged with 9 cross canes. This is encircled by 6 rings of assorted complex canes in shades of cobalt-blue, white, pale-blue, salmon-pink, green & lime-green. The outermost ring - lime-green tubes filled with pale-green & salmon crimps - has been drawn into the base to form a basket. In the process, 8 rods partially split open, exposing the inner canes. However, only a small section of the basket is affected. There is also a black inclusion attached to the side of one of the canes.
The “SL” signature - unusual pale-blue letters on a white plaque - blends in with the colour scheme of the third row (at 6 o'clock in the first image). Rather than being a separate cane, it is concealed within one of the florets. Polished, concave base with a broad wear rim.
