The tuft is formed by a large green, white, salmon & blue floret ringed by green, pink & blue and blue, white & pink complex millefiori canes. Dark-blue & white corrugated canes border the design and are pulled down to form the tapered stem of the mushroom over a 24-point starcut. The torsade around the base of the mushroom consists of 5-ply white latticinio and a translucent cranberry twist. (As so often in St. Louis designs the torsade is encircled by an air ring). A narrow wear rim surrounds the polished, concave base.
