Spaced Concentric with "Hidden" Roses
Set over a clear ground, this attractive miniature spaced concentric has 22 yellow-centred, pale-pink roses “hidden” at the centre of the alternating white and yellow tube canes forming the outer garland. Centering the design are blue/white whorl canes around a rare St. Mandé arrow cane (described by George Kulles in “Identifying Antique Paperweights - The Less Familiar”, page 56), and a circle of red/white complex millefiori canes.
The polished concave base has a narrow basal rim.
