Excellent Miniature

A delightful, well set up miniature weight - attributed to a Silesian glassworks - with a fine central cane surrounded by 2 close concentric rows of extremely complex millefiori canes. The flower-like centre cane is composed of a flared, white 12-toothed cog cane (coated in red) with two 5-lobed ruffles inside filled with translucent ruby. The blue-coated canes in the first row are similar, while the red & white ribbed canes around the perimeter each contain 13 blue, white and yellow 5-pointed stars.
The design is set on a polychrome spatter base. The base is flat and lightly polished.
