An excellent example of a post-classic millefiori weight set on a blue & green-striped, white cushion wrapped in fine yellow filigree threads. A complex red & white 5-lobed star cane at the centre of 9 smaller verison of the same cane, is surrounded by a row of 8 large, alternating complex canes - each with a 5-lobed star-shape in the centre - and an outer row of smaller, 5-lobed blue, white, red & yellow canes alternating with green, yellow, red & white cog canes. Flat, lightly-ground base showing signs of wear.
