Millefiori on White Basket

This attractive miniature weight was probably made in one of the Silesian glassworks. A two-tiered white latticinio basket supports the two rings of alternating millefiori canes, set around a centre circlet. Soft-hued pink/white millefiori circlets and cog canes contrast with the yellow/green 5-lobed stars and the cobalt-blue/white corrugated canes placed between them.
The flat base is lightly-ground and shows signs of wear.
