The company first used a rose as a signature cane in 1992. This weight contains 13 roses on muslin over a translucent dark-blue cushion. Not all the roses have a signature (usually so tiny as to be almost illegible). Of the 6 canes at the top, 2 have a “wBc” signature (one being the official 1997 rose cane) and of the 7 canes around the lower half 2 have signatures - a 1995 purple-centred rose and a 1997 trial rose. At least 3 of the roses have a second “miniature” rose in the centre. 5 + l faceting. Scratch-signed & dated on the concave, polished base: Mark Burchfield 4-97.
