A design from Daniel Salazar that never went into production: a short stem bearing 3 dark-green leaves is topped by a scarlet rose in full bloom. The flower is set above a layer of fine pink muslin with a border garland of pale-pink Clichy-style roses with pale-green sepals and pink & yellow stamen. Scratch-signed and dated above the rim of the polished, concave base: Daniel Salazar Lundberg Studios2003. (Although not marked 1/1, it is described as “one of one, artist proof” on the accompanying certificate).
