1970 Mushroom in Pumpkin D/O

A stunning paperweight in a most unsual colour combination. The scalloped concave top window and 6 elongated side facets on a pumpkin-on-white double overlay reveal a concentric millefiori mushroom. Encircling the red/white/pink centre cluster are 7 rings of complex canes in shades of raspberry-pink, yellow & pale-orange, dark-blue, apricot, pale-blue & white. The pale-blue & white canes in the final row form a tapering stem over a clear ground. 
A B1970 signature/date cane is set in the 2nd yellow/pale-orange ring. The flat base, which is acid-etched with 2 Baccarat insignias, the number and the year, is edged with 18 notch-cuts.
