The pink-on-white double overlay is cut with a pentagonal top window, sloping side facets and 5 circular sidefacets to reveal a flat topped, 5-row concentric millefiori mushroom. Encircling a pink & white centre cluster are red/white crimp canes and 4 rows of complex millefiori canes in shades of green and blue. The dark-blue canes in the outer row form a tapering stem over a clear ground. A B1973 signature/date cane is incorporated in the row of alternating green canes and red/white crimps. Notch-cut base bearing 2 acid-etched Baccarat insignias, the number (253) and the year (1973).
