1978 Colourful Concentric

4 rows of upright hollow latticinio rods space the millefiori canes in this 10-row close concentric set around a 10-point star filled with deep-pink bull’s eye canes. The glass makers at Baccarat had an eye for unusual colour combinations - setting green & yellow next to pale & coral-pink and an outer row of blue-lined white cogs, which are neatly drawn underneath to form a basket. A B1978 signature/date cane is set in the row of coral-pink canes.
The flat polished base bears the Baccarat insignia, the number 4 and the date 1978.
