The 1978 “Exotic Butterfly” series was made up of 6 limited editions. Set over a semi-translucent dark-green ground (appears black !) covered with thousands of tiny air bubbles, is a beautiful pink butterfly. The outstretched honeycomb wings bear yellow-outlined, deep-blue eye-spots. A tiny B1978 signature/date cane is set at the edge of the weight. Acid-etched on the concave, polished base is the Baccarat insignia together with the number/edition size (29/125) and the year.
