1979 Gridel Butterfly (Ed 350)

Outlined in blue at the centre of a white lace cushion is a silhouette of the black butterfly.  The other 17 Gridel silhouettes - set in variously coloured canes - are spaced around the lace cushion.
Signed with a black & white B1979 signature/date cane within the design. Acid-etched on the flat, polished base is the Baccarat insignia plus the edition number (340) and the year (1979).  The significance of the other stamped date - 21.5.1984 - is unknown.
