1983 Yellow Dog-rose (Ed. 175)
Set over a translucent cobalt-blue ground is a large yellow dog-rose, reminiscent of the type of flower found in antique Baccarat weights. The 5 heart-shaped petals - with the white underlay showing at the edges - are set around a pink/white/red millefiori cane “stamen”. Completing the design are two yellow buds and 2 stalks bearing green leaves - not to forget the attractively-coloured beetle (with its long black antennae) which is climbing up the stem towards the flower! A small, white B1983 signature/date cane is placed at the base of the stalks.
The polished, concave base bears an acid-etched Baccarat insignia, date, edition-size and number.
