Scattered around this attractive mint-coloured millefiori carpet-ground - composed of white cog canes centred by green stars - are black-on-white roundels sheathed in red, yellow, dark & pale-blue, amber & purple- depicting the 12 signs of the Zodiac. A small B1988 signature/date cane can be seen at 6 o’clock in the main image. Acid-etched on the flat, polished base are the Baccarat insignia, the year and the number: 55.
