An Alastair MacIntosh design. From a large golden sphere encased in glowing amber, white threads swirl around the weight and meet at a smaller sphere near the base. The top of the weight is finished with a large, flat top facet and 8 slightly-concave, adjoining facets around the side. Acid-etched on the flat, polished base: Caithness Cavalcade Scotland. The base also bears the artist’s signature (Alastair MacIntosh) and is scratch-numbered 46/250. Original certificate.
