Helen MacDonald’s whimsical interpretation of Fairy Land - the “home to pixies, elves, sprites and kelpies”. A domed weight with a sloping front facet providing a view of the red & white caps of 3 toadstools on a grassy mound. Large flowers, leaves and stalks are engraved around the blue-flashed, frosted back and sides. The flat, polished base is scratch-inscribed: FAIRY LAND Caithness Scotland, numbered 5-100 and scratch-signed: Helen MacDonald. (Original box and certificate)
