Peter made a number of similar paperweights while working at Selkirk - based on a design that Paul Ysart had used to great effect. A white lampwork flower with serrated red-veins in the petals floats above a basket of alternating white and pale-blue/white spiraling latticinio rods. Signed with a "PH" cane on the underside of the flower. Scratch-signed around the centre concavity: Peter Holmes - and inscribed: Selkirk Glass Scotland 47/100 1987.
