Millefiori on Colour Ground 1/1 (2005)

5 complex Ysart-style canes surround a centre cane, interspersed with 5 smaller star canes. Colours range from lime green, coral pink & lilac to blue, grey & burnt orange. The high maroon cushion has a velvet-like texture. 5+1 faceting.
Signed on the polished base: Peter Holmes 1/1 2005.
In fact, 2 were made each with slightly different canes; one was faceted, the other was not - hence the 1/1!
