Summer Flowers 1/1 (1992)

Blue, burgundy, purple, lemon & pink flowers with finely ribbed petals - partially enhanced with sparkling aventurine - are arranged around a central, shaded-blue double clematis with a millefiori cane “stamen”. Completing the design are variously coloured leaves over a ground of inky-blue powdered-glass. To the left of the centre flower is a tiny, white “PH” signature cane.
The weight is cut with a deeply concave top window and 5 circular side facets. The concave, polished base is dated, inscribed and signed: 1992 Summer Flowers 1/1 Peter Holmes.
