Primroses Ed. 250 (1992)
A beautiful floral design produced at Caithness: 2 lampwork primroses with glowing deep-purple, velvet-like petals and a dark-green/yellow millefiori cane “stamen” enclosed within a garland of pale-lilac/white corrugated canes. Surrounding the flowerheads are a number of dark-green, yellow-veined leaves. The design is set over a translucent kingfisher-blue colour ground.
Signed with a green/white WM cane below the 2 flowers. The weight is acid-etched Caithness Scotland on the flat, polished base, scratch-numbered and inscribed “Primroses”. (Original numbered certificate).
Although planned as an edition of 250 only 150 were actually produced !.
