An extremely complex weight with butterflies on 3 different levels fluttering over a pale-pink clematis on the clear ground. All the insects have aventurinebodies & yellow antennae. 2 of the butterflies have elongated millefiori cane wings (pink & white and pale-blue & red) whereas the third one has green/goldaventurine wings with lemon eye spots. A garland of pale-pink/white/green complex millefiori canes encircles the design. Signed with a red/black WM81 signature/date cane on the underside of the flower.
