A closepack mushroom with approx. 21 complex millefiori canes forming the tuft bordered by alternating pink & blue cog canes, which are drawn into the tapered stem. Although undated, this was one of the designs Peter made during the first years of production in his new studio. Although most of them were domed with small side facets, this was probably a special commission. It has a circular top window, 5 large side facets and the polished, concave base is finished with a 36-point star-cut. A PMcD signature cane is incorporated within the millefiori tuft (ca. 7 o’clock in the first image).
