A new addition to the General Range in 2005 was G17 - a medium-size 9-spoke cartwheel. This "blue-in-blue" version combines pale-blue corrugated canes, turquoise/white cruciform canes and royal-blue/white bull’s eyes over a semi-translucent cobalt blue ground. A PMcD signature cane is set in the underside of the colour ground. Scratch-dated 2006 on the polished, concave base.
