A prototype for a specially-commissioned design made in a small edition of approx. 20. A good use of colour in the millefiori canes in the centre and between the white latticinio twists - strong reds, pale-blue, pale-yellow & white - plus the turquoise/white cruciform canes in the garland, create an eye-catching pattern against the dark, opaque colour ground. The weight is cut with a large round top window and 8 side facets. A PMcD signature cane is embedded in the centre of the polished, concave base.
