Purple Overlay Ed. 1/2 (2010)

A new design of which only 2 were made !  A purple-on-white double overlay is cut with a top window and two rows of side facets to reveal a striking lampwork arrangement set on white muslin. Encircling the central pink flower - with its millefiori cane stamen - is a curving vine bearing another 2 pink flowers, buds and green leaves. A border garland of complex millefiori canes in soft-hued pale-pink, slate-blue, pale-green & white adds the final touch to a stunning design.
A PMcD signature/date cane is set in the polished, concave base, which is scratch-numbered 1 of 2 !
