A beautifully-balanced colour combination: a superb pale-lemon/lime-green carpet ground, with complex lavender/white and pale-pink/green millefiori canes and picture/silhouette canes. In addition to the centre picture cane - green holly leaves and red berries - 6 others are spaced around the perimeter: a robin, a blue/red rooster, a blue/red woodpecker, 3 bluebells on a stalk, a red/yellow flower and a blue tulip with green leaves. The outer row of canes is pulled into the base to form a basket. Signed with a P 1977 cane in the small central concavity of the polished base.
