A large weight with an opaque blue cushion supporting 8 complex millefiori canes and coloured twists framing a ring of pale-lavender & green canes. Through the window in the centre, the viewer sees - on a lower level - a coloured picture-cane of a horse & jockey which is normally framed in red. (In a few weights - maybe 10 or so - the picture-cane has a green frame - like this one!) Cut with a circular top facet and 8 side facets. A P1987 signature/date cane is set in the concave, polished base. (Numbered certificate and original factory sticker). Planned as an edition of 250, only 120 were made; highly sought after and difficult to find!
