1991D Columbine - Ed. 300

A large weight with a looped garland of pink & white millefiori canes encircling a white columbine...its deeply-cupped petals backed in pink and set around a yellow stardust centre. The stems bear 3 pink buds and a couple of green leaves. The weight is cut with a large top facet and 8 side facets.
Signed with a P cane at the base of the stem. Polished, concave base.
The same motif was also produced on a clear ground. Together only approx. 235 pieces were issued of the planned edition of 300.
