Set on a translucent mottled amethyst colour ground (appears black !) the design is centred by 3-dimensional blue & topaz flowers and pink buds. Encircling them are 3 rings of complex millefiori canes, with short twists joining the canes in the first ring. Cane colours include lilac, pale & dark-green, pale & dark-blue, ochre and pale-pink. (The circular facet in the top creates the impression that there are 5 millefiori rings !). Apart from the top facet, the weight has 3 large side facets with 2 smaller facets between them. Scratch-numbered next to the P1997 signature/date cane in the polished, concave base, which also bears an original Perthshire sticker. (Includes original, numbered certificate).
