An attractive star-shaped design over a translucent mottled amethyst colour ground. From the 2 rings of canes encircling the complex centre cane, 10 white/orange/green twists form a 5-point star in the tightly-packed millefiori canes. Colours range from lime-green, pale-lilac, turquoise & ivory to pale-green, pink, cobalt-blue & pale-orange. The wide range of colours is subdued by the darker twists and the amethyst colour ground. A white P1979 signature/date cane is set in the polished, concave base.
