PP8 (1969-1971))

3 layers of polychrome canes and cane chips form a large weight, which is sometimes referred to as Aladdin’s Cave. In the centre and at 4 other points, the top layer has been drawn down through the second layer to meet the bottom layer, which is set over a translucent orange ground. Bubbles are placed at each of the depressions. Flat, fire-polished base with a concavity in the centre where the pontil mark has been removed. Unsigned.
