Cyclone- Ed. 500 (1981)

A relatively early example of an abstract design from this Scottish glasshouse, which produced its first weights in 1978. Cyclone: “a wind rotating round a calm central area”; and that is precisely what is interpreted here. Rising from a shimmering blue ground, layers of fine crystalline bubbles swirl around a central silver bubble.
