1953 Rare Concentric

A spaced concentric on a thin layer of upset muslin with 15 millefiori canes set in 2 rings around a centre cane. Some of the canes are relatively simple - white stars, for example, set in colourful cogs but the majority of the millefiori canes are quite complex for such an early weight. A wide range of colours - from ruby, burgundy & dark-blue to pale-green, orange, aquamarine & pink.
A tiny blue/white SL1953 signature/date cane is set to the left of the burgundy/white cane at 12 o’clock in the main picture. Polished, concave base.
