One of the early weights produced shortly after the company started making paperweights again in the 1950s... a mushroom in a dark-green on white double overlay, cut with an unusual scalloped top facet and 5 side facets. The millefiori canes in the tuft are relatively simple and the overall tonality is no match for the vibrant colour combinations found in 19th Century paperweights from St. Louis. The stem is drawn down to a star-cut base. The millefiori canopy is set around an SL1953 signature/date cane.
