Few piedouche weights were produced in 1953 & 1954. Set on a pedestal foot - with double-swirl latticinio and 2 pink & white twist torsades - are 6 concentric rows of millefiori canes around a central composite cane. The rows are meticulously set, with virtually no slippage. Colours range from pink, blue and purple through to pale-green, white and pale-ochre. A white & pink SL1954 signature/date cane is set in the 3rd row amongst the pink canes.
