1976 Yellow Roses (Ed. 400)

A combination of millefiori and lampwork in this design: with 2 pink-centred, yellow Clichy-type roses supported on green stems bearing a number of leaves and a single stem with a yellow bud.  The design is set over an opaque two-tone blue ground.
An SL1976 signature/date cane is set in the underside of the colour ground.  Polished, concave base. (Includes original certificate)
Until 1978 St. Louis certificates were sequentially numbered, not the edition itself ! Hence this certificate bears the number 1427 with the information that in 1976 a total of 2,150 paperweights were produced.
