1977 Five Flowers (Ed. 450)
A flat bouquet on clear ground. 5 lampworked flowers - in orange, pink, mauve, white & striped pale-blue/white - are each centred by a complex millefiori cane. At the base of the green stems are 3 green leaves. Encircling the bouquet is a garland of alternating blue, red & white millefiori canes. The weight is finished with a circular top window and 6 round side facets.
A pink/white SL1977 signature/date cane is set within the border garland at 6 o’clock in the main image. Polished, concave base. (Original certificate)
Initially at St. Louis, the certificates themselves were numbered, not the edition ! Hence this certificate bears the number 2227. After 1978 each edition was numbered separately.
