1979 Blue Cornflowers (Ed. 200)

A limited edition of 200 commissioned by the Bergstrom Art Centre in the USA. Two 3-dimensional, blue flowers with white-tipped petals, a blue bud with green sepals and emerald-green lanceolate leaves are arranged on clear. Cut with a circular top window and 6 side facets.
An SL signature cane is set at the centre of the 16-point star-cut base. Around the basal edge the paperweight is numbered and inscribed: Bergstrom Art Centre 1979. (This is not visible, however, when viewing the weight from the usual angle).
