A low-domed closepack in which the canes fill the entire surface of the crystal dome. The majority of canes are extremely complex with just a few simple ones randomly scattered amongst them. The canes at the bottom are drawn into the polished, concave base leaving a large porthole through which the translucent green colour ground is clearly visible. This particular weight - like a couple of others that are known - is signed with an SL cane containing a specific date- namely 28.5.1981! (visible towards the top of the 2nd image). We have been unable to ascertain the significance of the date.
