1995 Kilim (Ed. 200)

A fascinating design reminiscent of a beautiful oriental carpet.  The predominant colours of the millefiori canes - deep-pink, blue & pistachio - have been “woven” to great effect into a complex pattern over an opaque white ground.  The deep-pink canes in the design appear again in the stave basket surrounding the carpet.
A tiny red/white SL1995 signature/date cane is set at the bottom of the blue circle of canes (6 o’clock in the main image).  Numbered on the polished, concave base. Includes original certificate
