1996 Pinkish-red Dahlia (Ed. 200)

The clear crystal is set with a large dahlia - issued in 1996 under the name Fancy.  5 layers of almost translucent pinkish-red petals are arranged around a corrugated pink, white & red millefiori “stamen”.  As in the antique St Louis versions of the dahlia, the tips of 5 green leaves can be seen around the flowerhead.
Signed with an SL1996 cane on the underside of the flower.  Polished, concave base with acid-etched edition size and number.
