Les Poissons / The Fishes series was introduced in 1996/97. The white-spotted red mullet - a native of the Caribbean - only reveals its magnificent red andblue colours when it is asleep! The fish floats over an opaque white ground dotted with sediment. The weight is finished with a flat top facet. A blue/white SL 1997 signature/date cane is set above the white ground. Polished, slightly concave base with an acid etched St Louis stamp.
