A limited edition weight to commemorate 200 years of American Indepence. This particular weight is not numbered - it was possibly a prototype as it came from the estate of Geoffrey Baxter, the chief designer at Whitefriars until it closed in 1980. The flag is set in a carpet of white cogs with brown/gold star centres. Blue & white star canes form the border garland. Cut with 5 +1 facets. Below the flag is a blue/white 1776-1976 signature/date cane. Original factory label on one of the facets. (Although planned as an edition of 1,000, few were made due to the difficult set up)
