Interlaced multi-coloured garlands encircle a central composite cane and loop around 6 other millefiori canes in a variety of colours - from pink, lilac and yellow to green, turquoise, aqua and pale-blue. A blue/white1977 signature/date cane is incorporated in one of the loops. The design is set over translucent pale-sapphire; an unusual feature is the deeply-cut, 12-point “starburst” on the base, which displays the typical Whitefriars indentation between the colour ground and the clear crystal.
